Session Fee

The session fee is separate from the collection pricing and books your dream session with Johnna. The session fee is non-refundable and due upon booking.

What if I don’t feel sexy?

Sexy is a word that is thrown around A LOT these days. Our idea of sexy has been reﬁned through the years by mass media and marketing and a lot of people don’t ‘feel sexy’ because they don’t ﬁt into the mold of what society says ‘sexy’ is. You know what we say? You ARE sexy because the sum of who you are makes you a beautiful person! Your personality, quirks and courage make you sexy. Done and done.

What If I don’t have anything to wear?

Never fear, the Studio Closet is here! The Studio Closet is ﬁlled with a variety of outﬁts that you can use that will bring out your conﬁdence!

What do you mean by retouching?

We don’t do extensive retouching when we edit your images for your gallery. Trust us, you’ll be able to recognize yourself in your photos. We only retouch images to enhance you and the overall image. Examples would be adding in some dramatic lighting, smoothing skin, smoothing out some hair ﬂyaways, or removing a pesky eyelash that maybe fell out when you were blinking. It’s the smallest touches you won’t even notice.

What is your privacy policy?

Your images are yours and I will not show them to anyone or put them online unless I ask for permission and you grant it. Your privacy is of utmost importance to me.

Do you have payment plans?

Yes I do! Payment plans are available on your investment. I also accept all major credit cards. Boudoir is a splurge and a luxury experience. It’s an investment and not something you do every day.

Do I need to have my hair and make up done?

We provide hair and makeup services. Generally, hair and makeup is nice to have done so you feel extra conﬁdent. When your photo is taken, it can be easy to look more washed out than you do in real life. Because of this, it’s nice to have your makeup done to really enhance your look so your features stand out on camera. While it is not a necessity to have your hair and makeup professionally done, we recommend taking a little extra care when doing your own makeup to be sure it pops on camera.

Is boudoir for older women, or women who are curvy?

Yes! Every women is beautiful no matter your age or size. You are worthy.

I don’t know how to pose or worried about facial expressions.

You don’t need to know how to be a model. I’ll pose and guide you through the whole session. I will even show move by move if needed how so you can visualize.

Where does my session take place?

Unless you have discussed an on location or in home session your session will take place at the studio in Hampton, VA. The studio is lite with beautiful natural light. It has a mix of light boho set up and bold, vibrant areas to mix up your looks.

How long is the day of session?

You’ll arrive at 10am for hair and make up. Hair and make up generally take 1.5- 2 hours. Once you are done with hair and make up we will get into you lingerie, stretch and then begin the session. Session is 60 – 90 minutes long. Sessions are sessions are done by 2pm.

When will my gallery be ready?

I tell clients 72 hours. We will set up a date and time for you to come back to the studio to do an in person reveal of your gallery. We will go over products and place your order. Depending on the product the turn around time for products is 2-4 weeks.
